Several youngsters had been among these wounded in shootings in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend.

Both are expected to recover.

Police say they don’t believe the two were the intended targets in the shooting.

Thirteen people have been killed and at least 66 others wounded since Friday night in shootings across Chicago.

Two people were killed and at least four were wounded, including a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, in a shooting early Monday in Washington Park on the South Side.
