6ixth Annual OK BasketBall Tourney Recap

(WWETV Network) An annual tradition takes place in Toronto in memorial of two teenagers who were murdered in August 2013. In a Toronto Community Housing complex near Jane St. and Finch Ave. 16-year-old O’She Doyles-Whyte and 15-year-old Kwame Duodu were killed.

WorldWide Entertainment TV Host, Brooklyn, was on site for the event that included a neighborhood bbq and a basketball tournament held by Grand Slammers.

Community activists against gun violence came to the event to show their support. Louis March of the Zero Gun Violence Movement and Evelyn Fox of Communities For Zero Violence gave exclusive interviews about the need for events that provide youth an outlet for positive activities that override the negativity in their environments.

The event also saw support from video director Dukey Dukez and comedian Femi Lawson with host WWETV Host Brooklyn. The event definitely had a family affair environment as onlookers watched to see who would come out on top during the basketball tournament which was divided into different age groups.
