With today’s march on Washington in commemoration of the 1963 march headed by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., major league baseball has released “4 Us 2 Remember”. It is to remind us that Jackie Robinson’s legacy does not live on only through the players who wear 42, but also through everyone who stands against injustice.

The legendary baseball player also partook in the march on August 28th in 1963 for civil rights with the likes of Malcolm X and more. Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play major league baseball, used his prestige as a star athlete to garner support for the civil rights movement. Check out the tribute below.
