Akon is getting some heat from fans for teaming up with the hated Tekashi 6ix9ine on the single remix for “Locked Up”. Akon being true to his word by working with 6ix9ine had people asking Styles P what his thoughts were since he was on the original version.
Styles P’s focus is on the current situation with police injustice and the death of George Floyd. He stated, “I honestly don’t give a fux the fact that this is even a topic 2 discuss with all the racial tension n plandemic/ pandemic makes me want to focus in harder on reminding y’all 2 stay golden n boost the immune!” he wrote.
Tory Lanez had a different take though on the situation. He posted on social media, “So what y’all telling me is …. Akon gave the #LockedUpRemix / SAMPLE to someone else !?!?? And not me?!???? …… I’m going back to bed man,” the “Jerry Sprunger” singer joked on Twitter.
The tweet sparked a back and forth between himself and Pretty Ricky star, Spectacular, that ended in Tory posting the receipts!
Akon seemed to take the criticism in stride and fun as he posted, “Hahaha!!! LMAO. I need you to get out of bed for part 3,” Akon tweeted.
