There has been plenty of speculation on what happened to hip hop artist Nipsey Hussle. During the grieving process of losing the LA rapper, the world continues to recognize his contributions to his community.
Congress member Karen Bass made a promise and kept her word as she made a visit to the House Floor to formally enter Nipsey Hussle’s contributions to South Los Angeles into the Congressional Record!!
A CRS Podcast listener has seemed to give details on what exactly happened to Nipsey Hussle. The artist supposedly was not to be at his store that day. He just went to the store that day to help a newly released friend who just came from a 20 year prison bid with some free clothing. Nipsey Hussle had given his security the day off and didn’t bother to have any with him that day since he didn’t plan to stay long outside that day.
Eric Holder just got out of prison too and was passing around his music for people to listen to. He spotted Nipsey Hussle in the parking lot and asked him to listen to the music. Hussle knowing him for years and also knowing he was labeled a snitch did not want anyone seeing him and trying to retaliate since Nipsey was around little children which would also put them in danger.
Hussle told him he could not help him until he could bring papers showing he was not a snitch. Holder returned with everyone’s guard down since it seemed he returned to show his papers. It was at this moment when Nipsey Hussle lost his life. You can read the altercations which occurred afterwards because of this action in more detail below.
