It is being reported that an arrest warrant has been issued for the mother of Nipsey Hussle’s daughter. This is due to the custody battle that is ongoing with Hussle’s sister.
According to TMZ on Monday (May 20), Tanisha Foster, the mother of the late rapper’s daughter, Emani Asghedom, missed a May 15 court date for a DUI case in Los Angeles that occurred a couple of years ago.
At the time, Foster pleaded no contest to one of the charges and was sentenced to three years of probation. With Foster missing this court date, she caused her probation to apparently be revoked. Thus a bench warrant for her arrest was reportedly issued.
This was not Foster’s only altercation with the law. Foster apparently has a criminal record dating back to 2006 as she reportedly resisted an arrest and was charged for disturbing the peace. The following year in 2007, another altercation occurred when she was busted for vandalism, bothersome phone calls and disturbing the peace. Those charges were eventually dismissed after she completed her probation.
Foster is currently battling in court for guardianship over her daugther Emani that she had for rapper Nipsey Hussle. On April 30, Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith, filed for guardianship of Emani because she’s convinced the 10-year-old’s mother won’t be able to care for her properly. Before Nipsey was shot and killed on March 31, Emani lived with her father and Lauren London. Smith claims she helped her brother, Nipsey, with Emani while she was in his care.
