
Recently crowned the writer of hip hop’s greatest rap song by BBC Music, Notorious BIG aka Biggie Smalls, has now been nominated for a place in the covetous Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame.
The Brooklyn, New Yorker born Christopher Wallace is in a nomination class that also includes Whitney Houston, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Kraftwerk, Thin Lizzy, Nine Inch Nails, The Doobie Brothers, T-Rex, Soundgarden, The Dave Matthews Band, Motorhead, Pat Benatar, Depeche Mode, The MC 5, Judas Priest, and Todd Rundgren.
Fans can have a say in the votes that will help assist in getting artists enrolled into the iconic hall. Top vote-getters will be announced in January of 2020. The induction ceremony takes place May 20 at Cleveland, Ohio’s Public Auditorium.
