Blue Ivy is following the footsteps of her talented parents. She also has reached a feat earlier than what mother achieved as a kid entertainer. Blu Ivy went on record saying “never seen a ceiling in [her] whole life” due to be the child of Jay Z and Beyonce.

At the tender age of 7-years-old, Blu Ivy has earned a Billboard Hot 100 hit record! The single “Brown Skin Girls,” which also features her mom Beyonce, ,Saint Jhn and Wizkid, recently debuted on the Hot 100 chart, marking her first-ever entry.

“Brown Skin Girls” appears on Lion-King-inspired album, The Lion King: The Gift. The project, which, Bey called “a love letter to Africa,” additionally features some of the biggest and most respected names in music including Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Pharrell, and more.

Blue Ivy may only be 7 years old, but she has some experience on records. In 2012, the rising superstar became the youngest person to appear on a Billboard chart with her first-ever feature on Jay-Z’s “Glory.” She also lent her vocals to Beyoncé’s 2016 track “Daddy Lessons” and the “Mi Gente” remix the following year. Then in 2017, she graced the world with her iconic “never seen a ceiling in my whole life” bar on “Blue’s Freestyle,” which was featured on Jay’s 2017 album, 4:44. And earlier this year, Blue sang her little heart out to “Lift Every Voice and Sing” on Bey’s Homecoming album.
