On November 7th, BMF season 1 episode 7 aired briefly but was immediately pulled. Initially, there was no word of why. Those who had access to the Starz app were able to watch the show (or read the full recap on Celebrity Myxer!) Fans and producers were pissed.

Executive producer 50 Cent was highly upset about this screw-up, even stating on social media, “Starz is a shit show, they better sell it fast. They put the fucking BMF show on, then took it down. what network does shit like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode i directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.”

What could viewers expect? Here is the synopsis: “In an effort to expand into new territory, Meech discovers a disturbing alliance then hatches a plan to eliminate the threat; Terry is forced to make a life-altering decision.”

SEASON 2

Speaking in a new interview with TV Insider, here is some of what star Russell Hornsby had to say on the subject:

When you’re dealing with success, opportunity, and money in a life of crime, you lose people. And you lose people that you love. I think that’s part of the pain and cost of being in the street game. It is going to be a great finale. I don’t think everything is going to tie up in a nice bow. It definitely leaves it open for Season 2.

Episode 7 saw the debut of Eminem as “White Boy Rick”. 50 Cent was the director of the episode and told Entertainment Weekly how he felt about Slim Shady’s participation on the show. “When Eminem found out I was directing, he committed to do it, and working together was natural,” Jackson tells EW about the rapper’s cameo as Richard Wershe Jr. (better known as White Boy Rick), who became the youngest informant in FBI history during the 1980s. “It was an honor to have him on the show and it made this episode extra special.”
