The story of Bobby Brown is of legendary lore in the urban entertainment world, but so is the tragedies that have befallen this iconic figure. Bobby Brown has stated people who are creating these synthetic drugs or lacing other drugs are “murderers.”
Within a few years, Brown lost his ex wife, the incomparable Whitney Houston, and their daughter Bobbi Kristina in a similar fashion over drug overdose. His son also faced a similar situation when the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office ruled Brown Jr.’s death as accidental and found “alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl” in his system.
Bobby Brown has also been known for his drug and alcohol abuse over the decades and he speaks thoroughly about his past addiction with Jada Pinkett-Smith’s “Red Table Talk”.
The visuals he provided for the ladies during the broadcast went further, “I needed it to wake up. I needed it to stop the shakes, to function on a day-to-day basis. For me, it wasn’t recreational,” Brown continued. He also spoke openly about his son, Bobby Brown Jr. Additionally, Brown addressed the recent tragic loss of his 28-year-old son, Bobby Brown Jr. “Kids today, they’re trying different things,” he said of his son’s drug overdose. “They’re trying to get as high as they can possibly get. That’s a real problem because they don’t know what these drugs are being mixed with these days.”
