It’s been quite a while the streets has been hit with some “Hot N*&(()*” music from Bobby Shmurda, but that long wait will be over sooner than later with his return back home.
One of the hottest rappers in the game had his career halted on September 2, 2016 when the Shmurda accepted a plea deal to one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession. The action helped fellow artist “Rowdy” Rebel receive a lesser charge that was originally slated for 13 years. Both men were sentenced to 7-years for the crimes.
After spending years behind bars, Bobby Shmurda according to TMZ was released from prison shortly after 8:30 AM EST on Tuesday morning. His release was reportedly due to the prison’s Time Allowance Committee, which reviewed his behavior and granted him freedom early.
On Instagram, Bobby Shmurda sent an IG message under a video clip of the 1990 film King of New York.
“How the *** y’all forget about me,” he wrote.
