Busta Rhymes has been in the hip hop world for a very long time. He broke into the scene in the 1990’s with his “Leaders Of The New School” group. He would break out from that ensemble to create another his own entity known as “The Flipmode Squad”. T.I. believes the longevity of Busta will cause a “generation gap” if they ever went at it on Verzuz.

Busta said in his challenge, “I’m begging you to step in the ring with me. I’ma bust your ass,” adding that they’re going to “do it with grace.” T.I. came onto the hip hop scene and brought the element of “Trap Muzik” and has been at the forefront of rap in Atlanta ever since the 00’s.

T.I. declined Busta’s challenge, suggested the age gap may be too much. “Busta’s one of the most phenomenal talents of our time,” Tip said. “I salute and respect Busta a whole lot. I just think the generational gap might be a little too much.”

Busta jumped back online to respond to TI declining his offer. He says, It ain’t got nothing to do with generation, it got everything to do with work you can give a motherf*cker when it’s time to get this work. I did my job and I continue to do it…” Take a look below.
