Tekashi 6ix9ine dropped a bombshell that female rapper, Cardi B, had ties to the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. It was mentioned in court today and you find out more here. It seems the New York rapper has decided to out his fellow hip hop artists, but a rep for Cardi B denies any involvement to the gang.
Billboard reports that a rep from Atlantic Records has denied any affiliation between Cardi and the blood gang. There is no official quote, but the overall consensus is that the New York rapper has no ties to the New York bloods gang.
Whether this is a denial of current affiliation or throughout her life remains the question. In a GQ interview last year, Card B let it be known that she joined the bloods as a teenager.
Tekashi 6ix9ine is being mocked online as a snitch by people in the industry and fans. However, this has not stopped the rapper from naming fellow NYC rapper Jim Jones as being a “retired rapper” who is apart of the Nine Trey gang. A rep for Cardi has denied the claim she’s a member of the Bloods, telling TMZ, “This is not true.” Cardi seems to be taking issue with her rep … saying she IS a Blood, but absolutely not associated with 9 Trey. Cardi explained, in a tweet, she’s a member of the Brim Bloods set.
