(WWETV Network) This week WorldWide Entertainment TV takes a look at the career of reggae artist Cham. It is always a hard bridge to cross over from the Jamaican music scene to North America and Europe. One of the artists do so has been Baby Cham aka Cham.
The 1990’s saw the rise of stars from the Island of Jamaica through the likes of Shabba Ranks. By the 2000, however, Cham had one of the most anticipated albums that people were banking on having international success.
The reggae star would end up working with some of the biggest acts in history such as Rihanna, Foxy Brown, and Akon. It was the classic song entitled “Ghetto Story” that made the most waves and put Cham on the map for good. With the assist from songstress, Alicia Keys, the single became an anthem for impoverished neighborhoods worldwide in 2006.
Cham is #WorldWide Artist Of The Week with WWETV Network EXCLUSIVE coverage of his live performance in Toronto. He performed for the 150th Birthday in July of 2017 for the country of Canada and did a set that included the hit song “Ghetto Story” in the video below.
