The year 2020 is definitely a year of change from the “normal” and many people are switching gears for more of a political or revolutionary stance with their art. One artist who is willing to make that leap is singer Chris Brown.

During this period of civil unrest in the United States, many people are looking towards the leaders for direction. Chris Brown wants to use his celebrity status and huge following in a collaboration with none other than former President of the United States, Barack Obama, in a united revolution. Brown sent a direct message to one of the most influential African Americans in history.

“LETS SET UP A MARCH FRO CHANGE…. THE WHOLE WORLD WILL BE BEHIND YOU… I DONT KNOW U PERSONALLY BUT WE HAVE THE SAME HEART, BRAIN, AND POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD FOR THE BETTER…. NO PUBLICITY STUNTS… A REAL MARCH… WE HAVE TO START A SMART,LOVING, compassionate REVOLUTION.”

A well thought out plan was suggested as he continued by stating the following.

Meanwhile, the former President Barack Obama made a call to George Floyd’s family that brought an emotional effect unparalleled by other leaders, according to Rev. Al Sharpton’s telling in a New York Times feature.

“I want you to have hope. I want you to know you are not alone. I want you to know that Michelle and I will do anything you want me to do,” Obama said during the call, according to Sharpton and two others who were able to confirm the account.

The conversation was “emotional,” lasting 25 minutes in “a reprise of the calls he made to grieving families over his eight years in office,” according to the Times.
