Taking notes from Michael Jackson and Prince to execute “No Guidance,” the two men let bygones be bygones. In 1987, it was discussed between Michael Jackson and Prince that  a collaboration would go down for the visuals for Michael Jackson’s  “Bad.”  It would be a dance off between the chart rivals, but it never came to fruition.

Chris Brown and Drake had tension was different however as the two got into a club brawl as reported by Rolling Stone that got out of hand. The two artists and their entourages started throwing punches and bottles at the club W.i.P, allegedly after an argument broke out over Rihanna, with Brown receiving a gash on his chin.

The two artists have matured since then and are on good terms as evident from their chemistry on the “No Guidance” music video. Drink Champs had Chris Brown on their program and Noreaga asked about that era of “light-skinned beef.” He told the singer that he knows when it comes to getting down, Brown would “go in,” to which Brown told him he “loves combativeness.”
