Da Brat finally revealed that she was a lesbian to the world after years of not disclosing this information. The Atlanta rapper first burst onto the scene in the 1990’s debuting with kid sensations, Kriss Kross, on the song “Da Bomb”. She would end up being the first female rapper to go platinum with her album entitled “Funkdafied” and has been in the entertainment scene since.
During this time her sister, Lisaraye, had become a known actress for her roles in “Player’s Club” and appeared in music videos such as Tupac’s “Toss It Up”. The two women have been pretty concealed on their sibling relationship to the public until Da Brat gave Lisaraye a birthday shout out that turned left.
