DMX producer, Dame Grease, makes claim of having fifty unreleased DMX songs.
Dame Grease has given Dark Man X some of his most memorable songs in his catalog such as “Damien” and “Get At Me Dog”. He is also a contributor on multiple albums that include Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood, And Then There Was X, The Great Depression, Grand Champ, and more.
His close affinity to working with DMX throughout his career had many expecting to hear some production from Dame Grease on the latest “Exodus” album, but the producer jumped on social media to reveal something that many are happy to hear.
“Yall Ready? @dmx #Amen Produced By @damegrease129,” the producer wrote on social media, “I’ll give the masters to @defjam only … New album coming! The legacy continues. The Passion and Soul Recorded at my house with 50 more songs!”
Fans of DMX can take solace in knowing that Grease indeed did work on multiple projects by X which would make him privy to such material.
Def Jam having an opportunity to release more music from DMX can only be seen as a positive by the record label. Time will tell if we ever get the chance to hear this material.
