Kawhi Leonard shook up the NBA by signing with with the Clippers. Now, another member of the reigning NBA Champions has made an announcement. Danny Green stretched out his options similar to Kawhi Leonard and did what he felt was best for himself.
The Lakers were willing to pay more money to Danny Green and have now given more power to the team that consists of Lebron James and Anthony Davis. Green accepted their offer of a 2-year contract valued at $30 million, as per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Lakers will also re-sign Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for 2 years at $16 million, and JaVale McGee for 2 years at $8.2 million, of which the final year constitutes a player option according to according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.
