Dave East has reportedly turned himself into a police station in New York. The hip hop artist was charged with a misdemeanor assault for an alleged assault on a man after leaving a party cruise.
TMZ reported East was accused of punching 28 year old Joel Rosario in July near the Hudson River marina. The lawyer for Dave East states that her client is an absolute gentleman. Stacey Richman is looking forward to reviewing the case for her client.
Rosario states he was baffled at why East even assaulted him. He received a laceration above his left eye.
