Alicia Keys is one of the more popular R&B artists to hit the scene in the last couple of decades, but there was a moment in her early career where plans were made to have the songstress a apart of a girl group.
The girl group – whose name meant 3 Little Women – were made up of Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Naturi Naughton. But back in the early noughties, there was some talk of Alicia being one of the three little women.
‘My first band that I was in was just four of my homegirls from my neighborhood. I don’t even think we got to the place where we had a name. ‘My second band that I was in was kind of like one of these projects that are put together by people, and they heard I sang and they were like “oh, maybe you could be a part of it.”‘
The crew at the Dish speak about the interview and ask the question of whether or not Alicia Keys was throwing shade at “3LW”.
