Diddy Honors Kim Porter & Officially Changes Government Name

Diva & Vixens

Diddy recently celebrated his 50th birthday, but did so without the mother of his children. The mogul shared a bittersweet photo of Kim on Wednesday and told fans to “cherish” their loved ones because they can be taken away at any time. The picture featured a smiling Kim while she banged on a drum. Porter passed away in November 2018, but Diddy’s latest post proves that she will live on through the memory of her loved ones.

If you got a good woman please let her know. Tell her as soon as you can. Make sure she knows. Make sure she feels it. HONOR HER. CHERISH HER. Cause the special ones are RARE and FEW. And everyone doesn’t get a second chance. LET THE ONE YOU LOVE KNOW TODAY. RIGHT NOW!!!! 💛💛💛 @ladykp I’ll honor you forever. ❤️

Kim Porter passed away suddenly in November 2018 at the young age of 47. According to the LAPD, North Hollywood officers responded to a call at 11:38 AM at Porter’s house in Toluca Lake. She was found in the home unresponsive and was declared dead at the scene. Officials initially “deferred” her cause of death and it was later determined she died of lobar pneumonia.

In other news concerning the iconic hip hop figure, the Bad Boy Records founder filed a petition to change his name to Sean Love Combs in Los Angeles County last year. In documents obtained by The Blast, a judge signed off on the switch on Tuesday (January 21) despite Diddy not being present in the courtroom.

Diddy previously flirted with the “Love” moniker in 2017 when he briefly declared his new name was “Brother Love.” Soon after his announcement, he revealed he wasn’t being serious and played it off as a joke. But a few years later, his jesting has become reality as Love is now his middle name.
