Diddy Clears His Instagram Account After Promising New Album
After 6ix years of not producing any new music, the business mogul surprised his followers when he scrubbed his Instagram account of any photos and videos. On Sunday (August 1), 18.2 million followers were left with an empty feed from the Bad Boy Records founder that had people wondering what was happening with him.
Fans were updated On July 21 that Diddy had plans to follow-up to 2015’s MMM (Money Making Mitch) mixtape called Off The Grid Vol. 1. At the same time, he indicated it was the end of the Boy Boy era and time for the “LOVE ERA,” a reference to his new middle name.
“OFF THE GRID,” he wrote in the caption. “The Album September 24, 2021. Welcome to the LOVE ERA!”
He had also promised that his music was now only going to have positive messages for the betterment of the communities he targets. To help with the new project he’s hired The Weeknd’s manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby. The move came shortly after Diddy signed with WME and launched The Excellence Program, a virtual development program and resume database for aspiring entertainment executives from underrepresented communities.
