DJ Akademiks doesn’t hold his tongue back in critiquing Megan Thee Stallion and now he does the same to Meek Mill.
There is no love lost between Philly rapper, Meek Mill, and the former host of Complex Magazine’s “Everyday Struggle” podcast DJ Akademiks. The two have gone back and forth before on social media to the point of threats being dished out.
In 2020, Meek Mill tried to get cancel culture to cancel DJ Akademiks. “He’s a bad police and our culture don’t need them… he also gassed a lot of beef that got people killed and hurt and never donated a dollar to the culture! … Akademiks shot back at the MMG rapper in a retweet saying “You can’t cancel anyone Meek.”
As the Verzuz showdown between Bow Wow and Soulja Boy was transpiring, Meek Mill took time to address his past beef with DJ Akademiks subtly in the comment section.
“Meek mill tweeted that he finally had my location when he saw me on verzuz with 750k watching… bro I went to complex for 3 years every morning at 7:00 am why u act like I was hiding from u… stop it dawg. I hate u rappers. U know ur other rapper opps location too. They do shows,” wrote Akademiks on his Twitter account. “Actually he ain’t tweet he was in the comments of the verzuz live lol.. let m state facts,” he continued.
