Snapchat has gotten into the content creation business. They attract millions of young people every day to their platform and believe creating original content will be appreciated by its millennial and Gen Z audience.
Variety is reporting that Tekashi 6ix9ine will be covered in a new documentary by Complex Networks. Snapchat will also be presenting “Bringing Up Bhabie,” a docu-series about rapper Bhad Bhabie from Invent TV (premiering winter 2020).
DJ Akademiks who use to run with Tekashi 6ix9ine and did a song with him has informed his followers that he will be the executive producer of the documentary series.
“Tekashi69 VS The World” (Complex): Docu-series traces the rise and fall of Tekashi 6ix9ine (real name: Daniel Hernandez) from his days growing up in Brooklyn, through his chart-topping career and star-studded collaborations — to the rapper’s arrest on racketeering, weapons and drugs charges, and his plea deal on nine felony counts. Premiering this fall, it’s the first installment in Snap’s new “VS The World” franchise covering big names in hip hop, sports, and entertainment.
