Drake is a Toronto legend and icon, but before he started making hits that reached the top of the bilbboard charts, Melyssa Ford was Toronto’s iconic figure in hip hop.
The former “Vixen” of video and now podcast show host, Melyssa Ford with Blue Telusma, “I’m Here For The Food”, revealed that she was dating Drizzy at the same time as America’s Next Top Model alum Toccarra Jones. In the episode titled “Chicks Before D*cks,” there was a tease from the women about which man they were referring to when speaking about finding out they both were dating the same guy.
“We are drawing this out,” Melyssa admits. “But I just want to finish it off with saying this: there was no way I was losing my friend to this guy, no matter who the f*ck he was. I was not losing my girlfriend.”
Toccarra let it be known that she agreed with Melyssa, but Blue Telusma wanted the tea about who the guy was they were speaking of. “She’s telling me that we’re dating the same guy, and you know what I say to her? ‘Knock yourself out,'” Melyssa recalls. “I didn’t have to have a conversation with him—I mean I did, eventually—not eventually, probably like the next day or something like that because he called me.” Toccarra interrupts her to say, “For his next date,” before calling the still-mystery man a “hoe ass.”
The women eventually reveal the celebrity and it turned out to be none other than Drake. “Can I say it?” Melyssa asks her. “Drake.” Watch the episode below!
