The Beverly Hills Cop franchise follows the wild adventures of Detroit police officer Foley. The first film premiered in 1984, where viewers watched Foley solve the murder of a friend in Beverly Hills. Two additional sequels came soon after, in 1987, Beverly Hills Cop II, and in 1994, Beverly Hills Cop III.

Charisse Hewitt-Webster and Ray Angelic are set to executive produce the upcoming movie. Melissa Reid of Jerry Bruckheimer Films will co-produce.

A premiere date of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley has yet to be announced.
