Delray Richardson tells his eye-opening Jamie Foxx hotel story and experience that he believes will challenge your perception of him.
Foxx was taken to the hospital on April 12, 2023, after suffering a medical crisis. His daughter Corrine first announced the news, writing on social media: “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
The crew was told Foxx would be late Wednesday morning, but after two hours, they were told he wasn’t coming at all and filming was called off for the day. However, work resumed a few days later and filming is expected to wrap this week, on schedule, with the help of Foxx’s stand-in.

Foxx dropped a credit card on the desk saying “Foxx and Warner Brothers and he’s with me.” Richardson believes the person was being racist and he thanks Jamie Foxx for helping him out in that encounter.
