Having a past life of crime and being an artist who wants to travel can be a burden for doing worldwide shows. Gucci Mane has turned his life around and has been an inspiration for many. He served 39 months behind bars and was released in 2016.
A lot of Canadian underground hip hop artists cannot travel and experience the world due to legal issues that prohibits them from crossing the border. This obstacle was also facing Gucci Mane until very recently in terms of crossing the border to perform in Canada.
Later this month he’s reportedly booked for 10 shows in five of Canada’s provinces. According to TMZ, Gucci will be able to make his upcoming performances because he had an immigration attorney help him acquire a temporary resident permit.
