Hip Hop Museum Will Honor Biggie On Anniversary Of Death

LEGENDS

On the 23rd anniversary of his death, the Universal Hip Hop Museum located at the Bronx Point will honor Biggie Smalls. The 1990’s saw the rise of hip hop that was rooted in street poetry hit the mainstream.

As the westcoast hip hop world was charting on Billboard, New York saw a comeback to mainstream with Notorious BIG. He kept the legacy of the birthplace of hip hop in New York with his rhyme schemes and clever wordplay.

To many he is still the “King Of New York” and paved the way for the likes of Jay Z, 50 Cent, and more. The celebration in the Bronx will be one to remember for sure. Check out the details below.
