The Black History Month series continues with WorldWide Unplugged Episode 6. In the last podcast segment, WWETV took a look at the recently released movie, Judas & The Black Messiah.

The assassination of Black Panthers leader, Fred Hampton, was the topic of the episode 5. This follow up episode 6 reviews the bombshell statement made by Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams’ Late Father in Law Hosea Williams Sr. He was the Civil Rights Pioneer in Martin Luther King Jr.’s inner circle.

The 1960’s was an era where the black community was fighting to have new civil rights implemented that would break away from the tradition of segregation in parts of the United States.

Earlier this month, Unplugged Podcast reviewed the film, “One Night In Miami”, which had powerful personalities such as Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Jim Brown, and Sam Cooke. There was unity within the community to combat the issues that was holding back advancement of the regular folks.

However, as seen in the film, “Judas & The Black Messiah”, there were was also infiltration of the groups trying to help the civil rights movement that lead to the assassination of the top men leading the charge such as Fred Hampton and Malcolm X.

It was no different than perhaps the top civil rights icon of the day, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who was targeted by the government because of his charisma and reach that would immobilize different cities across the United States for serious change.

Hosea Williams provides an account below that incriminates Reverend Jesse Jackson if his statement is to hold merit. It has never truly been analyzed to an extent where Jackson would be questioned with his motives after the assassination.
