According to Deadline, Lebron James and Maverick Carter are set to produce a reboot of yet another classic 90s comedy.

The Spring Hill company is a video company created by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. This entity will be producing a new version of 1990’s classic coming of age film known as House Party. Of course, it’s hip hop backdrop had stars such as Kid ‘n Play and Full Force. The movie also would launch the careers of now legendary comedians such as Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, and John Witherspoon.
Per Deadline, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Bumblebee, Boogie) and Tosin Cole (Doctor Who, Resolution) are in negotiations to lead the reimagining of the 1990 cult comedy. Award-winning music video director Calmatic will be directing for his feature debut.
