Jay-Z & LL Cool J Inducted Into Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

JAY-Z and LL Cool J will join fellow rap icons Tupac & Biggie Smalls in the the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

JAY-Z, has become legendary in his own right for become a hip hop billionaire for his successful business ventures, but made his original mark in the entertainment business with his classic music through his lyrical mass appeal.

LL Cool J was one of the first rap crossover stars and he has finally got a spot in the Hall Of Fame. The men were nominated in February and are official members of the Hall along with new inductees The Foo Fighters, Tina Turner, The Go-Gos, Carole King, and Todd Rundgren have also received the honor of inclusion.

In addition to his induction, LL Cool J will be receiving the Music Excellence Award alongside Randy Rhodes and Billy Preston. The ceremony is set to take place on October 30th at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, with a broadcast available on HBO Max.

The rap world is included in the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame despite the name seeming to be rock exclusive. The hip hop list of inductees include Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run DMC, the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, N.W.A, 2Pac Shakur, and last year’s inductee Notorious B.I.G.
