Jay-Z NFL Deal Is “Cold Blooded” According To Kaepernick’s Lawyer

Reports are coming in from BBC, that Colin Kaepernick’s lawyer is displeased with Jay Z. There has been a division for fans of Jay Z and Colin Kaepernick. The legendary rapper from the Marcy Projects in New York is facing harsh criticism with only a handful of supporters for his latest actions regarding his NFL deal

Now the lawyer for Colin Kaepernick has made a public statement that berates the first ever hip hop billionaire. Jay Z plans to re-imagine the damaged NFL image with the African-American community, but it may actually do harm to his own image of comments like those below keep getting thrown at him.

This deal between Jay-Z and the NFL crosses the intellectual picket line…I can confirm to you that the deal was already done prior to any conversation that [Kaepernick] had with Jay-Z and he certainly didn’t have any conversations with the NFL

Mark Geragos – Lawyer

Jay Z said during the press conference announcing his involvement on August 14 with the NFL that he had a private conversation with Colin Kaepernick about his business move. The claim according to Mark Geragos is inaccurate.

Jay Z most likely made the statement to reassure people that Kaepernick was not against the business move. The conflict of interest occurs due to claims by Colin Kaepernick that the owners of all of the teams in the league conspired to blackball him for kneeling during the national anthem before games when he played for the San Francisco 49’ers. Jay Z once lashed out against the NFL, by lashing out against the football league for those actions.

Now Jay Z has been hired by this same company to push forward the “Inspire Change” initiative. This is a result of Kaepernick’s activism by taking a knee during a game about the inequalities that African American people face in the United States.

Colin Kaepernick eventually settled for less than $10 million, but he still cannot find work in the league.

“I think we’re past kneeling- I think we’re on to actionable items. I’m not minimizing that part of it. We all know what’s going on now what are we gonna do?” Jay Z said during a press conference.

Jay Z will be the overseer of the Super Bowl 2019 halftime show. The NFL has taken a hit in terms of certain celebrities not wanting to partake in the event due to the issues the league has with Colin Kaepernick.

Artists like Cardi B., Freddie Gibbs, Killer Mike have supported Jay Z, while Funkmaster Flex, Jermaine Dupri and players Eric Reid and Kenny Stills have pondered whether the Roc-A-Fella founder is trying to “Inspire Change” or line his pockets with billions as the next owner of an NFL team.
