WorldWide Entertainment TV’s Blast From The Past inclues Juno awarding winning artist Sean Jones “Soul In The City” exclusive. The former member of the group In Essence, performed at Casa Loma every Monday night as apart of the Soul in the City concert series.

Sean became the first artist to secure a solo summer residency at the historic Casa Loma in downtown Toronto. In an exclusive interview, Sean Jones talks about his admiration for old school soul music that was the inspiration for “Soul In The City” song performances. Sean has put together a catalogue of songs that is diverse in genre. He reaches an audience that loves soft rock and appeals to fans of classic R & B songs in which he performs as a Motown Revival.

It was his take on soulful classics however, that would eventually land him a unique and incredible opportunity to showcase his skills. The artist provides insight into why his group In Essence broke up and his goals to become a solo artist. Raised in Etobicoke, with a five-year detour to Saudi Arabia (his dad, who worked for Bell Canada, moved the family to Riyadh when Sean was a kid), the artist actually had aspirations to be a lawyer before being sidetracked by music.

WWETV also gives an exclusive tour inside the historic Casa Loma where the concert series took place and was launched in 2017. The residency eventually got to an audience of 1,000 people each week to see the singer perform.
