Kanye West has been staying away from social media in recent weeks, but still has media following him on a daily basis for scoops.
A report from TMZ states Kanye West is named as a suspect in a battery investigation after getting into a physical altercation with a photographer. The controversial fashion mogul and rapper is accused of grabbing the woman’s phone and dashing it away.
A video of the situation has been released by TMZ as we see the tussle between Ye and the woman. Check out the video below and decide yourself if you believe he should be charged.
As Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori stays to the side watching the debacle, you could hear the photographer saying, “You’re a celebrity!” as the scenario goes down. This has caused Kanye to be named suspect in a battery investigation, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene around 4:30 PM and were provided video evidence of the incident.
It is not known at the moment if the woman is a citizen taking a photo or a professional photographer. The event went down close to a sports complex as Kanye was planning to watch his daughter North play basketball.
