Kanye West has landed on national polls for the presidency even though he entered the race late and hasn’t registered in every state.
Redfield & Wilton Strategies is a consulting firm that does polling and market research. They collected data from a poll conducted last week which included Kanye West’s bid for the top position at the White House.
The billionaire rapper came in at 2%. That’s out of 2,000 people polled. Many people including his friend, Chance The Rapper, believe that Kanye West would siphon votes from Joe Biden, but that doesn’t seem to be the case so far.
Biden 48% (+8)
Jorgensen (L) 1%
Hawkins (G) 1%

According to R&WS, the sitting Prez got dinged, going from 40% to 39% when Kanye is factored into the race. Biden stays firmly in the lead in either scenario, sitting pretty at 48%.
It is still early in the race obviously and anything can happen since it is the year 2020. One thing is for certain, this year may see the most watched election ever with so many concerns from American citizens over the state of the country.
