Kanye West To Purchase His Own Social Media Platform Parler

Kanye West’s next business move to counter social media ban was announced by Parler’s parent company on Monday (October 17) morning.

Getting restricted with posting on social media by Twitter and Instagram, Ye formerly known as Kanye West, has decided to take matters into his own hands. It was announced on Monday (October 17),  that the billionaire mogul will go into business with social media company Parler’s parent company, Parlement Technologies for a “groundbreaking” purchase of their conservative platform within the next few months.

According to the organization’s statement, West has made “a groundbreaking move into the free speech media space and will never have to fear being removed from social media again.”

Kane West found himself in trouble with the big platforms of social media due to recent commentary that has been deemed as anti-semitic comments. His friend Elon Musk (Twitter’s new owner) has even restricted his actions on the popular platform after his Fox news interview with Tucker Carlson and the Twitter post about Jewish people.

“In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves,” Ye expressed in today’s press release.

It’s expected that Parlement Technologies will continue to remain involved with the project to provide technical services and cloud support.

Previously, following the infamous Jan. 6 riots, Parler was removed from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store after companies accused them of failing to properly moderate the violent rhetoric being spread around on their app. After making changes to content moderation, the download is once again available on both stores.

The exact details of the deal is still not known, but CNN reports that the platform still must enter into a definitive agreement with West which is expected to close in the fourth quarter. Kanye West upset some more people with his most recent Drink Champs interview where spoke about the death of George Floyd.
