Whitney Houston is considered to be one of the greatest singers of all-time and the last event she attended was Kelly Price’s birthday.
Whitney Houston died in 2012 after the star was found face down in a water-filled bathtub with drug paraphernalia near by. The coroner’s report confirmed that she died of accidental drowning.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s 42-page report also reveals some unknown and often surprising details about the singer at the time of her death, along with what was found in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton, and gives glimpses of the addictions that plagued one of the greatest singer’s of her time.
DIED OF A BROKEN HEART ACCORDING TO EX HUSBAND BOBBY BROWN
In the interview with Rolling Stone, Brown said drugs weren’t the reason she died; instead, he said, she was “broken-hearted.”
“She was really working hard on herself to try to be a sober person and, um… she was a great woman,” he said, saying other things played a part in her death.
He then went on to say that Houston’s purported drug use is the “most misunderstood thing” about her.
Houston and Brown’s only child, daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, died three years later in 2015 in an eerily similar fashion: the 22-year-old was found unconscious and submerged in a bathtub and died months later in hospital.
