XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was born on January 23, 1998, in Plantation, Florida. XXXTentacion gained popularity through platforms like SoundCloud and became known for his unique musical style, which blended elements of hip hop, rock, and alternative music.

His breakthrough came with the release of his debut single, “Look at Me,” in 2016. The song gained significant attention and peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. XXXTentacion released several projects during his career, including the mixtape “Revenge” (2017) and his debut studio album, “17” (2017), which received critical acclaim.

XXXTentacion’s music often delved into themes of depression, mental health struggles, and personal experiences with violence and trauma. His emotionally raw and introspective lyrics resonated with a significant fanbase, particularly among younger listeners. Despite controversy surrounding his personal life, XXXTentacion’s impact on the music industry and his passionate fan following cannot be denied.

Tragically, XXXTentacion was shot and killed on June 18, 2018, at the age of 20, during an armed robbery in Deerfield Beach, Florida. His untimely death sparked an outpouring of grief from fans and artists across the world, and his legacy continues to influence and inspire many in the music industry.
