Lil Cease sat down to speak with Vladtv about the two years after the death of the iconic rapper Notorious B.I.G.

He believes he had learned a lot surrounding himself with Biggie Smalls and utilized that knowledge on his debut album two years later. Unfortunately, the rapper did not see mainstream success with his output, but believes the project may have been slept on during that time period of 1999. He claims that people are now saying the album is a classic when people look back on it.

Everyone knows about the fallout Lil’ Cease had with Lil’ Kim in the following years. The root of the problem was Lil Cease testifying against her during the 2005 perjury trial. The first annual B.I.G. dinner in New York City was the setting where the two artists put an end to their decades long dispute in 2019.

“I apologize for the things I have done that may have hurt you or affected you or made you feel bad. I genuinely apologize, I love you from the bottom of my heart. You are my sister, I love you for life.”

The two then embraced each other for the first time in 14 years.

Lil’ Kim spent one year in prison and was fined $50,000 after being found guilty of perjury. It should be noted that Lil’ Cease admits to Lil’ Kim helping him out with his rhymes and even wrote for him. He gives her credit for her pen game in the video below.
