She informs the audience that she was signed with Ruff Ryders Def Jam, but now has moved on to Atlantic.  Mitch informed us about a brief run as a battle rapper that ended shortly due to her admitting she wasn’t very good at it. The Bronx hip hop artist tells about the story of being jumped by a gang of women which changed her life choices.  She speaks about sampling Biggie Smalls’ classic “Warning” which is similar to how Nicki Minaj started out.

She speaks about the issues she has her with father who is Asian and how her mother is her rock(who is African American). She states how Yung Joc helped her get further in the industry with connections. Nicki Minaj shouting her out was a dream come true since the leader of The Barbz is her idol that she says is her generation’s “Lil Kim and Foxy Brown”. She says Foxy Brown also reached out to her too. She says she loves both Lil’ Kim and Foxy, but favored Foxy Brown more.

She says the new generation of female rappers are more open to showing love than when she started. She says the instagram has changed the game because so many females are there for people to see now through the new digital age. See what more she says about the music industry in the video at the top of the page.
