Rolling Loud was a hugely entertaining event for the fans of hip hop and the Sunday night headline with Megan Thee Stallion left some fans wondering where her and Nicki Minaj stand.
It was a “Hot Girl Summer” in 2019 before the pandemic hit a mere months later in Wuhan. The fans loved seeing when Nicki Minaj jumped on the song as Megan Thee Stallion’s star was rising. It was a big deal due to Nicki Mina being accused of not working with newer artists and even alleged of sabotaging other women artists.
Now in 2021, things between the two female rappers does not seem to be on the positive side of things. The two have not spoke to each other publicly or worked on another single since 2019, but Megan Thee Stallion has grown in stardom since “Hot Girl Summer”. Last year summer she got into mainstream press after being allegedly shot by Tory Lanez after a pool party by Khloe Kardashian.
Megan Thee Stallion skips the verse with Nicki Minaj on “Hot Girl Summer” during her performance and it’s got a lot of fans upset. There are timed sets that does create artists to cut songs, but fans notice that Megan Thee Stallion also performed Savage ft. Beyonce which was played in full. Vlogger Black Tea takes a look at the night and gives her viewpoint on why she believes it was shade on the part of Megan Thee Stallion to the iconic leader of “The Barbz” by “Tina Snow”.
Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby‘s friendship is also no more after the two rappers got at in on Twitter a few weeks ago. The issue surrounded Dababy working with Tory Lanez in recent months. Rolling Loud also saw that situation escalate when DaBaby brought out the Canadian artist during his live performance. Check out the performance with the appearance below.
