Megan Thee Stallion got “Good News” about her debut album reaching a milestone.

She dropped the project November of 2020 and has already reached platinum status. Fans of the Houston rapper got to listen to singles from the album such as “Cry Baby,” “Savage Remix,” and “Body.” Good News has officially sold over one million album-equivalent units in the United States.

There still needs to be confirmation by the RIAA according to HotnewHipHop, but that is to be expected announced soon that the female rapper is now platinum.

“Good News” starts with the diss track “Shots Fired,” a song that sees Megan addressing the controversy surrounding her and rapper Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot her after an argument on July 12. Megan not only acknowledges the shooting, but she also unloads on Lanez — humiliating him and his supporters with lines such as “A pussy n**** with a pussy gun in his feelings” and “Any n**** on that n****’s side is a clout chaser (Fuck y’all) / A bitch who he fuckin’ or a ho that he payin’.”
