Michael Jordan is one of the greatest athletes in sports history and he has accumulated plenty of wealth for his brand. MJ is delicate in what he deals with business wise for his image and is known for his selective choosing. This has been expressed publicly now by Jordan’s former agent David Falk, CNN reports.
“I brought him a deal three years ago for $100 million. All he had to do was, other than giving his name and likeness, make a one two-hour appearance to announce the deal and he turned it down,” Falk said Wednesday, without providing any additional details on the deal.
“God bless him. He’s been so successful, it gives him an opportunity to do whatever the hell he wants or not to do things he doesn’t want. I really admire that. He’s very, very selective in the things he wants to be involved in.”
This deal was ONLY 3 years ago and he ONLY had to make a one-time 2 hour appearance and STILL turned the deal down shows how much Jordan realizes his marketability and brand.
If y’all recall, Michael Jordan once turned down a different deal for $1 million because he apparently didn’t want to say the words “beanee weenee”.
