“MIKE” is a television series based on the career of the legendary boxer, Mike Tyson, through an eight-episode show that Hulu started promoted a few months ago. The story of the iconic boxer will give viewers insight apparently on his life as a child to becoming the “Most Dangerous Man On The Planet.”  As stated in the show’s synopsis, “the series examines class in America, race in America, fame and the power of media, misogyny, the wealth divide, the promise of the American Dream and ultimately our own role in shaping Mike’s story.”

There has been discussion about Jamie Foxx getting the green light from Tyson himself to portray him in film, but the boxer is not a fan of Hulu’s project.  He has made it very public how he does not like how Hulu has not given him any compensation for telling his life story. His first post was a picture of him and Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, often referred to as UFC.
