Monoliths mysteriously popped up in the United States starting in November. It suddenly disappeared and variants appeared just as sudden in Manitoba, Alberta, California, Utah, and Romania, a monolith is now standing in Toronto.

The structure was discovered on Thursday by Toronto resident Mon Lerin along the edge of the Humber Bay Trail.

Another monolith appeared to be made of cardboard or plastic and painted metallic, rather than being made of actual metal like the first monoliths in Houston. It’s located right in the center of Houston, Texas, which differs from all previous monoliths that showed up in remote desert or on an isolated mountaintop.

Houston also had another monolith appear at a different location in its city, but it quickly disappeared.
