MSNBC talk about Tupac’s experience when he was beat up by police for jaywalking in 1991.
MSNBC recently had a cover story about Kurt Reinhold, an unarmed Black man, who was shot to death by California police for allegedly jaywalking. It’s #OldSchoolSaturday and we flashback to Tupac Shakur speaking about his incident in a press release.
In the early 1990’s, Tupac was starting to become a huge star in the entertainment world. Around the time of the incident, Pac had been dipping into acting in films such as Juice. His music was also a bit more revolutionary in terms of totality of the work than his later projects with Deathrow Records.
