Jada Pinkett-Smith also came up during the same time period on television with the classic sitcom, A Different World, as a college student from a troubled neighborhood. After being friends with Shakur in high school, the two kept in touch even in Hollywood as Jada would be a catalyst to bring the rap star on an episode of the college comedy.

Treach speaks on their friendship with Math Hoffa and did admit they knew each other, but he did not see them physically together.  Treach said that his friendship with 2pac just left those kind of details with their women or lady friends at a minimum. He did reveal he was not pleased with Jada’s disapproval of statements concerning the Tupac Shakur All Eyez On Me biopic. The rap icon believed being an actress herself, that she should understand the details would not be correct and films are always “based on a true story.”

Treach also speaks on the infamous Tupac and Biggie Smalls beef in the video above. At the time, he felt it was like seeing a rap version of Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier.  The Naughty rapper felt when it spilled into the street beef with the east and west contrast with Tupac formerly being “MC New York.”  It was also revealed that Naughty By Nature was touring with Bad Boy Records during the whole saga. In the video below Treach talks about the hip hop legend’s other run ins with rappers below.

Treach also explains how on the movie set, Tupac Shakur actually shot one of the characters during filming. The rapper and actor relayed how movie shoots work as there are suppose to be no live guns on set, but in actuality blank guns. “You can’t be too close to them,” said Treach as he described the scenario.  During the shooting scene in the alley with Ramades, he really shot him in the neck and burn marks from the blank.
