NBA YoungBoy Calls Out Lil Durk, DJ Akademiks & India Royale On Twitter

NBA YoungBoy has caused a stir among fans by announcing his new mixtape, “Richest Opp,” which is set to drop on the same day as Lil Durk’s new album, “Almost Healed,” this Friday, May 12. However, he didn’t stop there. In a Twitter rant, YoungBoy dissed Lil Durk, DJ Akademiks, Durk’s on-and-off-again partner India Royale, and even insulted his deceased friends. These were highly combative and inflammatory statements that suggested the beef between the two rappers was far from over, despite rumors to the contrary.

“@lildurk you a b***h & yo nasty a** h*e and it’s shown,” YoungBoy fired off on the social media platform. “And @Akademiks you a pure Fat h*e who mouth gone be the reason you from now on (“invalid”) #RichestOpp.” In separate tweets, he directed fire at Smurk’s deceased colleagues and at his flame. “@lildurk lol you ever realized you only get a buzz when one of your friends die? Think about it scary bum b***h you know I ain’t lying ha ha #fact. @indiaroyaltyy tell that p***y b***h he bet not drop he ain’t thang ‘pretty lady.’”

Despite rumors that he and YB had settled their differences, Lil Durk was not particularly responsive. When a reporter caught him on the street and asked him about DJ Akademiks’ claim that they had put their issues behind them, he calmly replied, “What beef? Who?”

“Lol I never thought I see the day my homie diss me cuz his sales low,” he reacted. “This rap game is the devil lol. Youngboy I forgive u man. We can get them sales up otherwise… lol. But ok. Capitol Records I blame u for this… y’all pressuring YB to get some sales he doing anything. Get my boy off house arrest tho. YB the last rapper I thought would ever do some s**t for sales. But damn. Go buy his album it drops Friday… He’s tryna outsell Lil Durk. I still love him thc. Buy his project.”

“Idk nun I ain’t seen nun,” Lil Durk wrote on Twitter shortly after the Baton Rouge MC’s attacks. Then, he posted a picture of his name as a trending Twitter topic. “Trending everyday,” he added with a black heart emoji. Furthermore, it seems like YoungBoy might have just given Smurk exactly what he wanted without asking: more buzz and promotion for his own release. Still, that didn’t make his words any less harsh online, and hope that they reconciled vanished as quickly as it came.
